In the semifinal of AFCON, the South African soccer team suffered defeat in a penalty shootout against the Nigerian players, who emerged victorious on Wednesday night.
While many South Africans expressed both disappointment and admiration for the Bafana boys’ performance, Makhadzi’s commentary drew attention for the wrong reasons.

In her assessment of the match, Makhadzi praised the SA players’ efforts, but her choice of words sparked frustration among fans.
